Meet the Hartmans. Third-generation New Mexicans, raised on pride and work ethic.

They began High Desert Custom Metalcraft in 2014. Chisum has over 10 years of experience welding and utilizing CNC plasma cutting equipment to create art, signage, fences, components for construction, racing equipment, and general repair. He’s loved the process of creating, from design to fruition, since his high school Ag class days. Jayne is Chisum’s right hand, and the marketing mastermind of the operation. She comes from a long line of dairy farmers, and earned an agricultural degree from New Mexico State University.

The Hartmans pride themselves  on attention to detail and eye for design. The quality of the items they produce matters as much to them as they do to you. They won’t cut anything until it looks just right, and operate on the notion that word is bond. They want you to enjoy your item for years to come, so items are built to last! They have been blessed with three beautiful boys that keep them on their toes. The boys love getting to help dad at work, and plan to start their own businesses one day.
